It has been awhile...

What can I say, I am a busy woman. That is still no excuse for leaving this blog empty for months on end. So here I am trying to figure out a way to fill in the gaps from March to July without being too lengthy.

Since my last entry, I have launched my non-profit, have held 2 fundraising events, the non-profit has helped a little boy with shoes, published my lymphedema book, Got Jo scheduled for CHOPS to see if we are missing anything in her disease being that she is not responding to treatment as she should, have attended the most amazing Lymphedema camp, CAMPWATCHME, made many new friends in the lymphedema community, survived summer in the south.. so far anyways. So yeah, I think that is the main events over the past several months. Of course typing it out in a few words does not seem like a lot but, goodness in detail... Its been crazy busy!

I am not going to promise that I will write a blog on each of these things, because I do not want to be held accountable for empty promises. HAHA! I do however have every intentions to do so! One thing at a time right?

So yes, the non- profit has launched. Jo Rising Foundation. I am super proud and excited for it. Jo is just as excited. My hopes, one day when I am no longer here on earth, she carries it as her very own. I am certain she will be better at than I am.

I will say, this has probably been the most challenging and rewarding venture I have ever been on. It is certainly not for the faint of heart, and I am just at the beginning of it.

Ok, so now that I have updated. I will make a point to write something worthy of reading, hopefully this next week.

Until then.. Take care! :)
